Gay people are frustrating me.

Not only must I love these people in spite of their actions that I deem immoral and poisonous to our society, but now they are making a mockery of the laws of this country. This country—one that was proud to be a constitutional republic, one that was proud of its Christian heritage, one that had faith in its justice system, and one that was proud to accept others’ differences… willingly.
Now all is seemingly coming to naught. Will it come to war? Or is war already upon us?
Links:
(1) San Francisco has started handing out marriage licenses to gays and lesbians. I found some thing interesting in California Law. They cannot get away with this. Browsing through other codes, I saw nothing to contradict this; though I’m not an expert—I’m not dumb. A hearing, prompted by the Alliance Defense Fund, was delayed until Tuesday.
(2) Bush has mentioned this gay issue recently. So far he’s against the actions states have taken liberalizing marriage. Let’s pray he takes a firmer stand… maybe after he’s reelected, maybe not.
Enough already!

I snuck into
the Canadian Brass concert Monday night, which really wasn’t that hard, but it was most certainly worth it. They are so good at what they do and they have so much fun doing it. Incredibly interactive, talented, and comical (the girls might add: good-looking)—not wonder they perform around the world! I don’t know how much I would appreciate just a CD of brass, but their concert was definitely one of the best I’ve ever seen.
There might be more to say later. Until then, just ask Megan.

Outing Club action
Friday night to Saturday was a real good time. Hopefully I’ll get some of the picture that Bethany, Kates, and I made with the funky options on Beth’s camera. Good times. Thanks to Cory, for leading us out to this unique camping area that we’d never been to before. It’s located about 400 yards from where Dennison Run Road dead ends, fyi. We then, proceeded to go straight down the mountain toward the Allegany River, about 430ish feet down, in the stead of taking the trail. It was incredibly fun. We slid, at minimum, 100 vertical feet while sitting on our butts—steering with feet and hands. Snow is so fun. Cory also showed us a pretty sweet RR bridge (that had a big hole cut in a fence baring ones way on to the bridge. Not very safe, especially when covered in ice and snow. More fun in summer time… bridge jumping??) Look out Adam… I bought your pants at Cabala’s… we can be twins!!

I’m going to Canada with college peoples! Let you know about it post-haste.

LINKS
I have an enormity of links… but only a few for now. I shall not over-burden your intellects… nor insult them.

Some of you might have seen this “virus” in IM. Interesting little bugger. Here’s how it works.

Got $20? Got $20 million? If so, check out what you can buy on Ebay.

I found some stuff I never knew before, here. Grovers… it’s time to round off that education of yours.

I know that some of you nerd people out there understand my nerdiness and therefore, understand my screen name. To those who are left outside the walls of Nerdom… let me crack the door a bit. Gwaihir is the man… umm… bird? Furthermore, I have found the coolest valentines ever! Send a belated one today!!

HIGH BANDWIDTH – new Passion Trailer. Super sweet. I think I’m still going to see it. Perhaps more discussion as to why not to later.

Don't mess with this. Click on it for a better look.

Before I die

I figured I would bless the world with one last entry. After all, Adam (single) said that reading my blog was the highlight of his week. I said I was sorry that he had such a bad week.

Yeah. I have a lot of work to do this week, but I shall not complain to my worthy readers, such trivialities. Rather, I had a moderately, most excellent weekend. Beth and Ian (and clan) rock my jazzy face off. They put on a little pre-jazz concert show that a bunch of us went to see, and then left when they were done, before the actual performance started. (All the people were like… “They’re leaving.” … “Don’t they know it didn’t start yet?” And we were like, “Out of our way, foul knaves. We’re college students… with an attitude.” Or something like that.)

Tri-Rhos put on there “extravaganza” as well that night. It was a good time… the Rhos must all not be huge nerds. Thanks to Adam Neff (one sexy, single guy)… who makes us all look black with his dancing. Then, I’m pretty sure that I spent the whole of Saturday holed in my room, except for watching Good Will Hunting again. See a previous entry on this site for my thoughts on that movie (in a nut shell: Lots of cursing. See it anyway.)

I would like to thank Danny, my old roommate for leaving his cookies. His subscription to East Main’s cookie welfare program as become my responsibility... a responsibility that I shall not shirk nor take lightly.

College is great. Be sure to check out Megan’s blog to learn about just a portion of all the exciting things that Greeks bring to campus. So long Jerry. I wish that I could have met you. I aspire to be as you were… lost… cold… cute… surrounded by sympathetic girls. (eh… who am I kidding?)

I begin my first real day of tutoring over at Hillview Intermediate Unit today. Last week all the kids forgot that tutoring had started… so hopefully I get to learn my 5th grade language arts over again or something just as exciting.

Funny article… silly terrorism. Thanks to whomever sent this to me.

Crazy Cubans. Though I applaud their innovative skills. Maybe we should take them in… they are probably smarter than a lot of other immigrants.

This was an interesting super bowl ad. I was really funny until you found out that they were doing it legally. “How many times do I have to tell you?? Don’t get caught!!!” (yes I made that quote up… just like a dude’s Ed Psyc paper that I read)

Some cool cars here. That new Mustang look frickin sweet!!!

More LOTR:ROTK nerd stuff. Bring on the Oscars.

Homestarrunner.com is having a white T-shirt sale… fyi.

Your and my favorite nerd lives to see another day. I’m glad. What a sweet ace nerd.

Semi-intriguing article about bringing emotions into video games and what it entails. Maybe some Psychology nerds will like it.
